I'm so excited, but this year for my sweet sixteen, my parents have decided to let me go on a trip to Italy!
It'll be during spring break in April.
There are no words to describe my excitement, just because it means that I'll be hanging with my friend Barbara and her brother. In a different country. For a whole week.
It's my first time touring abroad though, so I have a lot of questions.
Do I need to know basic Italian? Also, aren't Italian and French close?
What other than basic packing items do I need to bring whie going abroad?
Other than a passport, if it's my first time out of the country, will I need to fill out any other forms?
How much spending money should I bring with me? :O
Are there any customs that I need to know before going?
If I usually get carsick, should I take medicine before getting on a plane?
What are the current items that are restricted in airports? o____o Can I bring things like a razor, or do I have to buy one once I get there?
How much are long distance charges on a phone? Is it cheaper to buy a pay as you go and do they work in other countries?
o_______o I have a lot to learn, I think.
